Recommend it for families
The staff was really attentive, packing us breakfast for a super early Tikal flight without us even asking. That little garden courtyard? An oasis amid the chaos of the bustling streets. You can't put a price on how calming it was to sit out there, especially when gazing up at the stars on that big terrace!

Relaxing and fairly clean hotel, peaceful location close to everything. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Location not far from many good restaurants as well as the central plaza in 5-10 minutes and the main square. For shots visit Como Como, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the venue.

Excellent service, though a few employees were surly. The room was decent size and cozy by the communal coffee pot, and I slept very well.
Well, Wi-Fi was very poor.

The toasted sandwiches near San Jorge are a must-try, and the comfy beds. The beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel offer a peaceful retreat amidst Antigua's bustle.
The coffee could definitely be better and the breakfast had its ups and downs. A few lamps needed some love, but everything still shined bright in its own way.

Clean rooms offer a cozy retreat. The rooftop terrace provides excellent views of nearby volcanoes.
Currently, the garden is being refurbished, a bummer if that's why you're here. Breakfast availability can be confusing. I was told it wasn't available, yet previous guests had breakfast without issue. A heads-up about potential late-night fireworks would have been nice too.

The garden at Hotel San Jorge is beautiful with colors and a peaceful atmosphere. The beds were quite comfortable, awesome for restful nights after exploring Antigua. The provided fan kept the room cool, great given that there is no air conditioning. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main plaza. The room was a bit small for our liking, and the absence of AC were great, especially if warm. Breakfast was decent but had some inconsistencies. I noticed some confusion about when it was available. A more organized breakfast schedule would really improve the experience.

The double room I had was cozy, with a bed that gave the feeling of sleeping on a cloud. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the main square and local attractions. Breakfast was a good treat to start the day, offering a good variety to fuel my adventures.

Spanish courtyard-style, beautiful garden, free eco-filtered water
No air conditioning!!! Limited opening windows make rooms stuffy when warm!!! A restaurant on-site would be convenient instead of relying on the main hotel around the corner!!!

This hotel is fantastic with friendly staff and an very nice central spot, made exploring landmarks and parks in the area easy, as I could easily stroll to the iconic Arco de Santa Catalina in just over a 5-minute walk and also enjoy the beautiful views at San Jose El Viejo, just a 2-minute walk away.

The lack of breakfast info was shocking, I mean who knew they could forget breakfast? Fireworks at 10pm? Really? I almost gave a good review but couldn't because instead of enjoying tranquility, I was treated like a second-class citizen. I expected a welcome gift for my troubles, clearly, my expectations were too high here, huh?
